AREA MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position is responsible for developing a market growth strategy; identifying grain merchandising and crop input opportunities to maximize profitability coupled with establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships. Specific responsibilities include providing contract services to customers; purchasing and grading grain; coordinating the logistics for grain movement; and credit management.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Agriculture/Business; 2-5 years of related agriculture experience in a merchandising role would be considered an asset, above average communication, leadership and organizational skills, problem solving and decision making skills and knowledge of environment, health and safety standards and Microsoft applications.
